Paolo Giordano's debut novel received the Premio Strega 2008 and has already become an international bestseller that has been translated into more than 30 languages worldwide.

Giordano will appear at the Italian Cultural Institute in conversation with Ottavia Bassetti to discuss the novel.
Ottavia Bassetti has a background in scientific communications and spearheaded the first online archive for the daily Corriere della Sera. She developed the US chapter of FAI (Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano) and is currently working with Arizona State University and the Giovanni Bassetti Foundation to develop an award for responsible innovation. She has authored a number of publications, including a series of interviews with Nobel Prize recipients. At the Italian Cultural Institute.
